1Install — 3 steps

  1. Unzip. There is exactly one file inside: liray_updater.exe. Nothing else to look for.
  2. Double-click it. Windows asks whether to allow changes → click Yes.
  3. Enter your licence key and activate. The program downloads everything it needs, then the interface opens.

⚠ Administrator rights are required

The game runs elevated, so the bot must run elevated too. If you do not click Yes on the Windows prompt, the bot will open but its keystrokes and clicks will never reach the game — nothing will happen on screen.

💡 Every time from now on

Always start the bot through liray_updater.exe. That is what pulls updates — don't launch any other file directly.

2Add your server

Go to Setup → 🌐 Server and add the server you play on.

The critical field is the window title: the text shown in the game window's title bar (for example Baerim - The Return of the Titans). The bot finds the game by this string. Get it wrong and you'll see "window not found".

Every server keeps its own settings and calibrations, so you can play on several servers without them interfering.

3What calibration is and how it works

Calibration means showing the bot what to look at on screen. Every server's interface is different, so the bot cannot know this by itself — you show it once.

Every calibration works the same way:

  1. Click the relevant Calibrate button
  2. The game comes to the front and the screen dims slightly
  3. Hold the left mouse button and drag a box over the target area, then release
  4. Press ESC to cancel

Before you calibrate

4Target Panel (HP bar)REQUIRED

The bot will not start without this. The home page shows "⚠ Calibrate the target HP bar before starting".

Why it matters so much: the bot detects whether a metin died by reading this bar. Kill counting, the "combat is taking too long" recovery, damage (DPS) tracking and mount handling all depend on it.

How to do it

  1. In game, click a metin (or a mob) so the target panel appears at the top of the screen.
  2. Go to Setup → 🌐 ServerCalibrate
  3. Box only the red health bar.

The most common mistake happens here

✅ CORRECT: only the filled red bar.

❌ WRONG: the panel frame, the target's name, the level text, empty areas — keep these out of the box.

Include too much and the bot misreads health: it kills metins without registering them, runs pointless recovery manoeuvres, and your yield drops.

5Character HP barRECOMMENDED

Setup → 🌐 Server

Calibrate this and the bot will drink a potion when your health drops and recover by itself if you die. Skip it and the bot still runs — you just lose those two safety nets.

6Calibration per farm mode

Metin mode

Metin → 📛 Capture the metin name

Draw a box over the white "Metin" text above a metin stone. The bot strips the background automatically.

This template is used for verification: when the bot spots white text it checks here whether it is really a metin. Without it, the bot may try to click other white text such as player or NPC names.

💡 Don't touch the white threshold

The bot tunes it automatically based on how bright the map is, and re-measures if detection drops. You never need to set it by hand.

Mob / Slot mode

Mob → Mob template REQUIRED

Without a mob template the bot cannot find targets in this mode. It can also detect mobs by their red names (toggle on the same page).

Fishing mode

Fishing → 🎣 Basics

7Optional settings that pay off

SettingWhat it does
Advanced → 🎯 Extra keys Camera setup — don't skip this. With the camera unadjusted, metins look far away or unreachable and the bot wastes time. Typically F zooms out and G tilts the camera up. Add these keys; the bot presses them as soon as farming starts and refreshes them periodically.
Advanced → 🚫 Unwanted panels You define the windows that pop up and block the bot: calibrate the panel, then choose what should happen when it appears (press a key or click somewhere). Five slots available.
Advanced → 🗺 Minimap When no metin is left on screen, the bot walks toward metin dots on the minimap instead of wandering randomly. Useful if your server shows metins on the minimap. Needs two calibrations — see below.
Advanced → 🔄 Auto reconnect Gets you back in if the connection drops. Asks for four screenshots in order: login screen, character screen, the button on it, and the maintenance/already-connected popup.
Advanced → ⚔ Skills Refreshes buffs when they expire. For each skill set its key and calibrate its icon while the buff is active.
Setup → ❤ Potion & Death Calibrate the "Start Here" button so the bot revives and continues after dying.
Advanced → 📦 Loot / Advanced → 🔗 Metin queue Loot: presses Z to pick up after a kill. Metin queue: clicks several metins in sequence (requires auto-loot enabled in game). They cannot be used together — pick one.
Advanced → 🕶 Human behavior Periodic breaks, reaction delay before clicks, click scatter. This is the strongest defence against behaviour-based detection — leave it on.
Advanced → 💰 Selling · Advanced → 💬 PM protection · Advanced → 🧩 CAPTCHA Sells items to a sellbox · pauses and alerts you when a private message arrives · switches to protection when a captcha appears.

🗺 Minimap search — two-step setup

Advanced → 🏃 Anti-stuck & Panels → 🗺 Find metins via minimap

  1. Minimap region → Calibrate → draw a box over the round map area. Keep the decorative frame and the surrounding buttons outside the box.
  2. 🎨 Colour of the metin dot → Pick the colour → draw a small box over one metin dot on the minimap.

Why does it ask for the colour separately?

The metin dot is not the same colour on every server. It may be white on one, green, yellow or even red on another. The bot cannot guess which one to look for — you show it once.

If you skip this, the bot assumes a white/grey dot and treats red ones as monsters. On a server with coloured metin dots it would find nothing at all.

The colour you picked is shown as a small swatch in the interface, so you can tell if you picked the wrong thing. Catching a bit of dark background in the box is fine — the bot uses the brightest part of it.

Colour tolerance is in the same section: raise it if dots are being missed, lower it if the bot walks toward the wrong things. The log shows how many dots it sees each scan.

8Run the bot

  1. Open the game and move your character to your farming spot.
  2. In the bot go to Home → pick the farm mode (Metin / Mob / Fishing).
  3. Check that it says "✓ Ready to farm" at the top. A "⚠" means the HP bar isn't calibrated.
  4. Press START.

To stop: F12

Press F12 to stop the bot. It works even while the game window is in focus. The STOP button in the interface does the same thing.

The Logs page shows live what the bot is doing: how many metins it sees, what it clicked, how health is dropping, why it ran a recovery. Share this log when asking for support.

9Back up / move your settings

Setup → 🌐 Server → 💾 Back up / transfer settings

This produces a single .lirayayar file containing every server's settings plus all calibration images.

💡 Why this matters

Copying only the settings file will not work — without the calibration images the bot cannot run. Take this backup before changing computers or reinstalling, import it on the other side, and you won't have to calibrate from scratch.

Importing overwrites the settings of a server with the same name; the interface asks you to confirm.

10Troubleshooting

SymptomCause and fix
"⚠ Calibrate the target HP bar before starting" The target panel isn't calibrated. See section 4.
The bot opens but nothing happens in game Administrator rights weren't granted. Close it, run liray_updater.exe again and click Yes.
"Window not found" The window title in your server settings doesn't match the game's actual title. Copy it exactly.
It can't find metins / clicks the wrong things The "metin name" template is missing or wrong. Redraw the box over the white "Metin" text. Also make sure the camera is set up (Extra keys).
It kills metins but doesn't count them / runs pointless recoveries The HP bar box is too wide. Recalibrate so it contains only the red bar.
The bot stalls while metins are on screen A window may be blocking it. Define it under Advanced → 🚫 Unwanted panels.
I changed resolution and it broke Redo the calibrations — the target HP bar at minimum.
Settings didn't carry over to a new PC Only the profile was copied. Use the .lirayayar backup from section 9 — it carries the calibration images too.
